Why a beta release? So it doesn't take you so long to see the new cards. Why is it taking a while for this? As you can see I added the backs of the cards for Heroes as Molten Core is the first set to have alternate art on the back. In fact the front of the Ragnaros card doesn't even show the mighty boss of Molten Core and who wants that in a card viewer!!! Secondly I'm working on the card data that displays at the bottom of the screen. There are so many different card types my current database format is no longer a viable option, so I am re-designing it. The hard part is done but I'm now trying to decide what to do with old sets (pre-Molten Core) and will probably end up re-creating their .ini files. Anyway, this is to allow you to see the new content before I finish the updates to the card viewer. Enjoy!

Through the Dark Portal has been released as version 1.20. All the cards from the new set are there. I also upgrades to Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition so it should be compatible with Windows Vista although I myself don't have a way to verify this. Because it is also required I added a link to the .Net download on the downloads page.

In preparation for the release of The Dark Portal and Molten Core sets, I have modulated the program so that it is no longer required to have all the card sets installed. You simply download the application and then the card sets you wish to install. On startup WoWTCGCV will check for the installed sets, and sets that are not installed will be marked - Not Installed.

I also cleaned up the file mess created by the multiple folders for the Onyxia Raid set and created a patch you can use if you already have version 1.1. Cleaned up the code in preparation for adding new card sets.

This is an add-on/upgrade including Onyxia Raid deck and the Loot cards. Due to limitations of web page storage 1.1 will require you to have already downloaded 1.01, simply unzip 1.1 into the same folder overwriting the EXE file and you will be upgraded and be able to few the Onyxia cards. Again 1.01 is REQUIRED for the 1.1 download. Enjoy!

Changes have been made in the code and directory structure to prepare for the addition of the Onyxia card sets as well as future releases. There is no reason currently to download if you already have 1.0, however you will need to have 1.01 before the Onyxia release of the Card Viewer will work properly. I hope to have the Onyxia Set viewer add-on available shortly.

After about a week of hard coding released version 1.0 of the Card Viewer. Below is a screen shot. you can download it by clicking Download at the top. Please report any bugs/errors using the e-mail link also at the top. I hope you enjoy it! I would like to add a deck builder and maybe even the ability to play an electronic version of the game.
